Winemakers Dinner at Rubino's in Rocklin
Time to Ciao Down - Italian Winemakers Dinner at Rubino's paired with Casque Wines - August 12.

So far this year we've done Thai, we've done French, now it is time for an Italian Winemakers Dinner paired with Casque's Rhone and Bordeaux style wines.
Casque Wines will be featured at a 5 course dinner at Rubino's Italian Restaurant in Rocklin on Pacific Street. Join us for some of our top award winning wines that will be paired with Rubino's classic Italian cuisine from 6:00 - 9:00.
Owners Henry Carrillo Jr. and Christopher Rubino invite you to enjoy some great family italian cooking on this special night with Casque's award winning boutique wines. Executive Chef Jesus Mendoza orchestrates a comprehensive menu of the refined yet identifiable dishes associated with cozy restaurants in New York ’s Italian American neighborhoods in the 1940’s and 50’s. Looking for old-time spaghetti and meatballs, real picatta chicken parmesan and the like with old-time quality attentive service. Rubino's was recently voted by Loomis and Placer Herald as the Best Italian Restaurant, and were also on KCRA's A list for Best Italian.
Casque Wines won Best of Show at America's oldest and most prestigious wine competition, 2010 California State Fair. As a small production winery they won "Best of Show for MicroWinery White Wines" and "Best of Show for MicroWinery Red Wines". These honors made Casque Wines the states top small production winery for 2010. Casque Wine of Loomis only does sales on-line and through a few boutique wine shops. This is a great opportunity to taste and buy their wines.
Generous 4 oz. wine pours are included in the ticket price of only $55 for the 5 courses. Rubino's will also be selling wines by the glass and retailing bottles of wine to take home.
