 | 2008 Calotte Blanc (pronounced: Call - oat) Blend: 35% Viognier, 30% Roussanne, 25% Vermentino, 10% Marsanne Our 2008 Calotte Blanc displays pale green apple and gold colors in the glass. On the nose, the wine displays complex aromas of peach, apricot, citrus leaf and lime. These pick up additional notes of spice, honey, melon and green apple on the mouth, all of which are framed and balanced by a blanket of minerality on the finish.  | 2008 Viognier ALMOST SOLD OUT! (pronounced Vee-oh-nay)Our 2008 Viognier displays a pale green-gold color in the glass. On the nose, the wine exhibits aromas of peach and apricot along with hints of melon and honeysuckle. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, yet round with no sharp edges. Our Viognier was blended with small amounts of Marsanne and Roussanne for complexity.  | 2008 Roussanne NEW RELEASE 11-15-09!(pronounced: roos - on) Our 2008 Roussanne displays a deep, golden straw color in the glass. On the nose, the wine displays classic honeysuckle and apricot notes, with hints of fresh melon and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is rich and lush, with added notes of peach and crushed nuts.  | 2007 Calotte - Red Wine Blend The 2007 Calotte is our inaugural release of this classic Rhone style red blend. This year’s bottling blends the spicy red fruits that are the hallmark of Grenache with the richer, more structured berry flavors of Syrah. The wine was barrel aged for 21 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels (approximately 40% new).  | 2007 Cabernet Franc Our 2007 Cabernet Franc is an intense, full-bodied version of the varietal. This year’s bottling also contains some Malbec to give the wine added structure and complexity. The wine was barrel aged for 22 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels (approximately 40% new). This wonderfully aromatic wine is best served with hearty red meat dishes.  | 2007 Syrah NEW RELEASE 11-15-09. Our 2007 Syrah displays classic deep purple color in the glass, along with an intense nose of black cherry, currant, smoke and pepper. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and plush, with soft, silky tannins. Notes of tar, leather and menthol are all part of the mix. The wine finishes with a subtle mineral edge and lingering hints of dark fruit and sweet oak. Our 2007 Syrah should evolve beautifully over the next several years.
