Our 2007 Roussanne Unfiltered comes from a single barrel lot that we felt was uniquely special and deserved to be showcased on its own without any maninpulation in the cellar. This wine shows rich colors of gold and green apple in the glass. On the nose, it displays pronounced honeysuckle, apricot and nutty aromatics. The wine is soft and lush in the mouth echoing the aromatic components and adding traces of peach, butter, minerals and vanilla to the mix. Due to its unfiltered nature, you should expect some haziness and a natural settling of sediment in the bottle.

(pronounced: roo-sahn) SOLD OUT! The fruit for this Roussanne comes from Bella Grace Vineyards, in Amador County. This wine was barrel aged in 1 year old French oak for 8 months. Small amounts of Viognier, Marsanne and Vermentino were added for complexity. The wine was not filtered in order to retain the rich fruit flavors that sometimes are lost during the filtration process.
